  • A cryostat is a tool that creates very low temperatures. A microtome is a tool that creates very thin slices. This is a cryomicrotome. I might even let you get away with calling it a cryotome.

    But if I buy some "cryostat" off ebay and it's got sliced up mouse weiners in it cause Tammy TA didn't take shop I'ma be pissed.
