The republicans freed slaves under Licoln and then also came up with the civil rates act.. the democrats voted NO on civil rights and it had to go back to congress twice. Know what youre talking about before you talk a lot of crap please.
Dont you know that democrats stand for the welfare trap? Its the worst kind of slavery. Paying people just enough to keep then without incentive and voting for your power so they dont lose their peanuts.

Hopefully the chairman remembers to give thanks to Ted Kennedy and the democrats for the civil rights bill in 65 that helped solidify his right to chase his dream... how many republicans voted for that same bill? or the coming education bills that gave funding and opportunity to previously neglected children? You mean the republican supported civil rights bill that Al Gore's dad voted against? It's interesting to see as education bills rose in number the quality of education went down. Your heart is in the right place but all the Massas are the Democrats that used to own slaves and then saw a win-win in Socialism/Welfare programs. They trade theft for votes. Keeping people dependant, you know "in their pocket" That's slavery my friend. Break free if you can, it's not that tough.
