Used to watch this show with my Dad. It was great to watch this and other James Garner roles with him. How I've missed him and my Ma. A great show. Thanks for the post.

@SuperOmnicron I think the key word to any show is plot driven. There will always be an audience that much is certain however I think we are all diverse in our tastes. I'm out of the 18-36 age group and hate to say it have more refined tastes (or like to think I do) when it comes to shows I want to watch like The Munsters (circa 1960's) on DVD. What can I say, Yvonne DeCarlo and Carolyn Jones were just plain hot back in the day.

@SuperOmnicron unfortunately I don't keep up with current trends. I have a analog-digital converter box which receives free signal and that is how I keep up with the classics. I think I'm still stuck in a big 3 er 4 rather show mentality (ABC/CBS/NBC/and sometimes FOX). Though I think I did enjoy an episode of Cold Case many moons back so as with anyone, I channel surf with a limited channel selection and go with what interests me.

@SuperOmnicron I remember the funky opening to Krofft Superstars and the big bang that accompanied that opening eons ago. My personal favs being Wonderbug and Land of the Lost (fyi look up the parody called the Marshalls Season 3 and Electr-O Womand and Dyna Girl/both are funny spoofs:). I never thought Start Trek TNG would go the distance but they pulled it off and did the cast did pay tribute to the original series which was a smart move.
Favorite show ever....love James Garner! <3

@sixsixxsixxxx Nope. It's just a plain fact! Unless you like dorks, geeks, nerds, whimpy leading men (boys) and girls that talk so fast you think they learned to speak from a computer program.
Sorry. Today's crop is just uninteresting, and will be equally unmemorable in television history.
