@conneellyp it is if they just speed through gort ,ardrahan and craughwell. the 2nd phase has been posponed for the moment pending the outcome of budget 2011 in december. however due to the succss of the ennis to athenry section i see no reason why it shouldnt go ahead. do you?

What ever floats your boat, I suppose. A few questions for you since your into it, i hear it takes nearly 2 hours to travel from Galway to limerick is there any way they can reduce that time? How fast does the trains go on that line ? And when is the second phase due to begin or has it began yet ??

the offical launch is on the 29th. this was a train heading out to collect the old track that had been stacked up near crusheen
