I could go on, but I would be sidetracking the discussion if I did. My point is not that you should or should not be a conservative. My point is when you point to a victim blaming dimwit and concern troll like xBallPark09 and start talking about "you conservatives", you're sticking him in our camp and we don't want him, any more than we wanted Shrub, or the crazies who think that indefinite detention without trial or extraordinary rendition are acceptable practices.

Conservatism calls on us to make at least a token effort at civility and emotional restraint - note that we are 24 years into an entirely artificial job crunch as I blow my stack at xBallPark09. Neocons, like the 60s radicals, believe in shouting others down, which I guess shouldn't be a surprise, because many of them used to be 60s radicals. Now, they're former 60s radicals with money and power, but with nothing more in the way of maturity or an ethical code than they had when they were 18.

@scrab132: As a rightward leaning centrist, I would strongly object to hearing what these people are pushing labeled as "conservatism". They aren't conservatives, they're just psychopaths.

Real conservatives, if nothing else, know the value of national security. Outsourcing, in stripping the country of the main source of its military strength, destroys that security. On that basis alone, we can refute any notion that G.W. Bush was ever a conservative in anything but name. He was just an idiot.

No, you don't. When the same stupid question is asked over and over, and is answered reasonably over and over, FOR YEARS, and all that assholes like you can do is play the broken record game as you act like you haven't heard the answers, you aren't being sympathetic, you are being trolls.

Google these: "unemployed need not apply" "no job, no experience". "Overqualified" and "unemployed" in combination, too.

@xBallpark09 did you miss that statistically the crap jobs have at least 10 other unemployeds per application? Trust me when i say looking for a job, even a crap one is difficult. To try and offset the despair I'm writing a series and making jewelry, candles and such to sell. It doesn't make much but it keeps the despair at bay for a bit while i keep searching and looking for online classes and such. Still nothing after two years of searching.

When any ass mentions Obama and living well, should really also mention HW BUSH and GW BUSH and the Millions of dollars they have, also include this economic crisis happened on president Bush's watch and he did nothing to stop it. 9/11 happened on president bush's watch. You conservative asses can shift the blame but the truth is clear that Obama inherited these messes from the George W.Bush and you conservatives can try to hide him in the closet but you can't. The unemployed want jobs!

ok, i feel bad for these people, but why don't they take at least some initiative and work to get a job, even if it is a crap job. My father got laid off from his engineering job, first thing he did was get a job at wal mart... sometimes you gotta just take the crap jobs and keep looking for work in your profession. But I do have the most sympathy for these people.
