This budget rc bike is unusual in that the front forks pivot freely and steering inputs are provided by the rider shifting his weight.

  • Control simply isn´t subtle enough for that to be necessary. Basically, if you´re going along at speed and you try to turn, very little happens. The thing to do is to brake briefly just before you tip it in, then feed in just enough throttle to keep the side-skid skimming just off the ground. It´s prone to sudden bouts of high-freq steering wobble, which is hard to recover from...

  • nice opening pic, does it justice, and great empty location. loved the way the thicklewart seeds were swept along in its wake @ 2:02 , and the tumble at the end. quite rugged really.

  • interesting.. do you have to keep feeding in counter steering to maintain balance??
