@simpleplan7829 The people, the trolls, in question weren't actual trolls. In the Folk-tale the priests who got mauled had been beat by a big, burly man. The claimed he was one and came* bearing the name of Finntroll.
*I meant went back to their home town.~
You can always google how Finntroll got their name. As for what part in the Crusades, I'm not sure if this, the story, was even a part of the Crusades.
