  • Thanks coach Croom for all you did for our State, our school and our football program!

You're a class act, a man of integrity and a true leader of men!

  • when mullen returns msu's competitiveness on offense.. croom should get some credit

  • I always liked Sly Croom... i sincerely wish him the best.

  • hey

  • I can't lie, I'm very disappointed about Croom's team this year... I expected big things but we are headed back to the cellar...

  • **many OF us**

  • LOL! I'd take Tub in a heartbeat at this point! See, that's what other fans in the SEC want-PERFECTION, and MORE, MORE, MORE! That's why they are successfull to an extent. The majority of us State fans seem to settle on football coaches with a sub-par rep. We wouldn't stand for this in our basketball or baseball programs. Why football? A few days after the LA Tech loss, many us were already exploiting the "wait and see" attitude. Hopefully our new AD, Greg Byrne, won't stand for this bullsh**.

  • well you guys can have Tubby as far as I'm concerned. Please know that not all AU fans are drinking the Tubby kool aid. With Bama on serious probation the last few years, he could have done alot more with that advantage than he did. But I could go on forever on why he's not my fav coach. Croom is a classy guy and has added much needed discipline, but x's and o's wise he leaves much to be desired. Maybe ya'll should make a run at Skip Holtz from ECU, he's got them playing well and they beat Vtech

  • I've always been sort of partial to Auburn. I like Tubby, too. Hopefully SOMETHING good will come out of this Croom debacle. It was definitely a catastrophic reality check. But I think we (the State fans) needed it. Until the administration forks over the money to pay reputable coaches, we will continue to fail miserably in football and have NO positive consistency whatsoever. I just don't know if the message got to the powers-that-be on campus.

  • Auburn, defense looks good, run offense looks really good, but we had 28 passing yards going into the 4th and finished w/ 85. That's not going to cut it if we want to go to Atlanta or the BCS.
