No his Japanese is good enough but he knows his market, Japanese love to hear little bits of English, he knows his market. Thats why he says the same thing in english and Japanese, hes not just grasping for words.

this by far the best closest real magic u can get, so many in there, lots of skills show here, he speak with them english alot of time because he's born in u.s. probbly just speak some basil level of japense. He speak english often in all his show.

His performances are never set up. I have met him in Tokyo Shibuya district with some friends. He can do the same kinda tricks and did in front of us. He grabbed a banana off a radom shelf we chose and he made the banana from yellow to green. Then he turned it into a lizard. No joke, this guys damn amazing.
