ALL OF IT, nbc, abc, cnn, fox, etc they are all corporate controlled, and they dont give you the truth, they only give you their side, and speaking from experience with grass roots media outlets (these are secular so dont use "its your muslim people" excuse!!) the peoples voices are not heard, just read a newspaper or watch 10 o'clock news more time is on sensationalism, this was also mentioned in my media class in college, sad to say MOSTLY ALL MAJOR MEDIA OUTLETS ARE SOUNDING LIKE THE ENQUIRER

all who weren't there living it really have nothing more than their opinions to offer. she was there, living it, doing it, hearing their stories firsthand, observing the travesty that is life as an Afghan woman, and making a positive difference first hand. she didn't revolutionize the whole country overnight, but she made a huge difference in a few people's lives, and that will play itself out over time. that's MY opinion, anyway.

D'you know what? That's funny, because when you know personal things about her, the whole out look changes. You keep your opinion and I'll keep mine. As for be only caring about things concerning me? No, you don't know me. Therefore you can't make that call.

No, she doesn't fail anywhere! First, there are lots of ups and downs for everyone. Second, compared to you sitting at home doing nothing or only caring about things concerning yourself, she's done more to help a lot more people that are in need of help that they didn't sense or could do nothing to get before meeting her Ms. Rodriguez. She has also helped women to make a living themselves and created job opportunities for women there!

That is media hype dont follow everything you read, this taliban has been used by western press to persaude public opinion. Must people have not a clue what is afghanistan or what afghan people are this is just a support war efforts over there, she might not be aware of it herself.
