Theme from "Harry's Game" is the name of the track... not sure if that is the only name for it though.

"Checker tail" in the US navy is the VC-5 composite squadron stationed.

No the P-51's shown, bare the markings of the 325th fighter group. 332nd Fighter Group where the Tuskegee Airmen and flew P51's later in the war marked by a Red nose and Red tail. There are a ton of Axis fighters in iL-2:1946. Almost every fighter aricraft is represented from Germany, Japan, and Italy. 109s, 110s, 190s, 262, 410s, A6Ms, ki84s, Ki61s,Ki41s, Ki44s, M.202s, M.205s, and on and on and on...Total plane count is in the 300s :)

I love the reflections off the edges of the airframe! Were those in-game, or done post-production?

well i was going to say they simply slowed the frame rate down but after looking at it a couple times it appears to be at normal. So gots no clue how he made the sun flare slower.
