(Formally Buffalo Soldiers) A short clip from out 2005 film Buffalo Soldiers. The lyrical story of a community of Jamaican migrant farmers working the tobacco harvest in rural Massachusetts. Subtle and touching, the film rises above the political to focus on the often-overlooked human face of migrant work. Shot on $250 over a span of 6 months. blinefilms.com info@blinefilms.com Order a copy at: http://www.der.org/films/on-the-other-side.html

This is beautiful and sad. I document and paint the migrant workers in America. I would love to paint the stages of the tobacco harvest in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Are you finished for the season? I live in Connecticut.
