The day you turn pro is the day you realize that attitude in selling is everything. Attitude is something you have built within yourself.

You see, the important thing you've got every day is your enthusiasm and your excitement for the job that you do in serving people. People will say yes to you more in your conviction, your excitement, your enthusiasm than in anything else. And if you don't have it in here, you can't transmit it out there.

  • Attitude... I like this... There are countries where attitude- in Sales, not on the market... has different meanings, but the most important is to respect your profession, also showing a little bit humor sometimes... Happy Sales, Web-inars and Video Conferences! Hope you will be able to pay your mortgage! Happy New Year 2012!

  • @bebedt Then you ought to find something you want to do, or more likely....change your personality. With your level of literacy and your attitude, you will probably have a tough time in sales anyway.

  • cool channel

  • @st0nedg0at How Can you nominate someone for an award that you have already won in perpetuity?

  • Tom Hopkins is very worth reading. I've read is "Art of Selling" and "Official Guide to Sucess" - I don't work in sales, but his advice and principles are applicable to your workplace and also your personal life. Thank you Tom for sharing your learning and your experience with all of us. I lost my father when I was very young, and I know that he would have approved of your advice, too .

  • @st0nedg0at then why are you listening to him?

  • I nominate Tom Hopkins as The Biggest Douche in the Universe

  • That makes so much sense. Love you Tom!

  • then you have no business selling. Find something else to do.

Selling is an art; you either have or you prepare yourself to learn.

  • what if you dnt hv the enthusiasm in sales but ur like force to work i sales? it sux man...
