    quelques bons samplers, sequencers, etc...

  • What a bloody great voice that Franz Treichler has.

A Swiss version of The Doors' Jim Morrison.

Met him a couple of times, and hands down, in my opinion, is THE coolest musician that I've had the fortune to hang out with.

Treated me like I was a member of his family or a long lost friend. Very affable individual.

If you get a chance to attend one of The Young Gods' shows, by all means do so. A treat for the ears indeed.

    Great band.

    Enjoy!

  • did you miss me when i was away

  • comment ajoute-on les accents en Youtube ?

  • Seen them live three times, once in Holland and it was sooooo gloriously loud after one song my ears were fried just the way I like 'em. Long Live TYG!!

  • Je les ai vu au Greenfield 2011 et je peux vous dire qu'au bout d'un quart d'heure j'avais l'impression d'être stone...

  • I remember seeing these guys back in 1989 in London & being blown to bits.

  • L'Eau Rouge still sounds fresh, unique and full of fire even today with all of the advances in electronic music. They have such a good sense of composition, it's insane. One of my favorite albums.

From 3:44 to 4:00, Franz is actually holding that vocal live ... however, from 4:01 to 4:47, keyboardist Al Comet has taken the note / vocal and has it routed through the keyboard. In essence, it became a live "sample" of Franz.

You can see Al holding the key down with his left hand at the 4:11 mark to accomplish this audio trick. Pretty cool.

A bit of a throwback to early Young Gods when all guitar sounds on their albums / live were sampled from different sources.

    :D

First off, I am most envious of you for having just had the splendid opportunity to see and hear the band play live several hours ago. :D

    Very cool indeed.

Yes, I agree with you on your opinion about the band and Franz in particular.

Saw / met him way back on 1990's "L'Eau Rouge / Red Water" tour and again when they opened for Ministry who was on the "Sphinctour" in support of the "Filth Pig" album.

    A good guy indeed.

One of the bands any serious music connoisseur must see.

  • @trollcrusher242 I agree! Great band - one of the few industrial bands who also have very good songs (not only cool noises), and Franz is really a nice guy. Fantastic live band - seen them 3 hours ago.

  • Great tune!
