I remember watching E3 when this music played and they demo'd the Ghillies in the Mist mission. It was mindblowing. This game really is nothing short of extraordinary it revolutionized gaming. Even the creators themselves can't match it years later. Every FPS, every shooter, hell every game is being measured up to COD4 and that's an impressive achievement. Hard to believe some people disrespect this game for all the advancements it brought forward.

It was supposed to be about a military uprising against the Ukrainian president, and USA, Russia and UK was the only hope to stop them from launching a Nuclear attack.

It turned out to become like this: Makarov kills billions of Russians in a airport, kills the american soldier of a spy (you) and Spetsnaz finds you making Russia pissed of in USA starting world war 3 and UK try to find evidence that USA is not guilty before its to late. And then, WW III. / MW III. Why did Infinity do this?

@espChris93 The thing with Battlefield is that the gameplay can vary so much match to match, CoD 4 is just shoot shoot shoot, maybe grab a flag or camp watching a flag. Battlefield is different, feel like driving, go do it, fell like being a vehicle gunner, go ahead, feel like being a lone wolf, go for it. The gameplay is far less repetitive and to me this is the same for Halo, and because of forge and custom games, its even less repetitive, you could do something new each day if you wanted.

@tmxboxburn Calling it boring is your opinion I suppose. Idk about it being repetitive. It's repetitive compared to what other FPS? Every battlefield game (although I love them over cod) is far more repetitive. Also any game good enough to get me to log 12 or so full days playing multiplayer is going to get repetitive. COD is so big that obviously purists will dislike aspects of it and I think there are much better games, i havent gotten anything after MW1, but I definitley think its a solid FPS

It was a great game but it didn't really revolutionise anything imo. All it did was take elements from other games and combined them into a highly polished experience. I'm not hating, its a great game, but it didn't really 'revolutionise' anything.
