Note: Done with the main game.. all that is left is to complete all Missions 5☆ Post-Game style!


First off this is a second recording of getting the 5☆ again, the original recording was corrupted with no sound at all (video is fine though). I have no idea how it happened, I think it might have to do with me muting the TV while it was recording and it failed unmute when I unmute.. dunno. That's the second time this happened.

So I went back to an older save to show the beginning "cutscene", then I went to my latest save and redid the mission.

Anyways the key is... LUCKY BREAK.

Have everyone make sure they have Luck Break Combo Ability and ribbon (or whatever resistance you have to allow you to keep attacking).

Last, you get a trophy for killing the jumbo sabo too.

Looking back this vid and the english version, the seiyuu of Sazh really has nothing on the english voice actor. After all, a black man that's not voiced by a black man is not black.

First time in my life I commended the English voice over Japanese. The English Sazh voice really is quite excellent.

@doodlebuggyjump15 You need to equip 2 items at the same time in order to get the random instant chain.

I think one combo would be the stagger lock weapon + Aurora scarf

ok i take back what i said..after posting my last comment i killed that big dinosaur..so this friggin cactuar is the TOUGHEST bastard in ff 13 i have ever fought..maybe its coz my crystarium is too low..most of them are still lvl 4.. =S DAMN IT!!WHAT DID HE USE TO GET LUCKY BREAK!!!??

first of all he's the second toughest(first is the damn huge dinosour..err admantoise something..)bastard i've ever fought in ff 13!!man i thought this was a regular cactuar mission but it turned out to be a bitch..the main reason is coz his attacks inflict daze and fog!!!both of this stuff prevents me from attacking!plus his 10k needles hurt like hell! :( and btw what the hell is a lucky break?? =S is it like a limit break(ff 7 & 8)?

sentinels properly equipped make him hit at 5000 HP ... 2500HP if you have the proper accessories to boot ... so yes, it is possible.

I remember my first attempt at this mission.

''I'll teach you to mess with Sazh''.(Battle Starts)10,000 needles. Game Over Lol.Man, I hated this mission before I got Random: Instant Chain, but in the end I showed that Cactuar Who's boss Lol
