Beautiful Christine on the Occasion of Her Birthday.m4v

Two experiments for this one: I'm using the prototype of the LP-2 Mini Looper with two functions I added to it: 1/4, quadruple speed and Random Retrigger. Using a fretless Stratocaster and a Harmonic Capo on the 12 fret, I tuned the guitar to a scale (rather than an open tuning) and did two improvisations. Each side of the stereo field is an improv that I did in real time without any edits. They just happened to go together although there is no synchronization going ever. Then I tried out a cool new iPhone movie app and shot the blinds in my bathroom as the dawn was just breaking. The blinds in my bathroom have been the subject of several of my videos. I just think it's beautiful at dawn, especially with all of the mirrors I've put in the bathroom.

Lovely ! Especially love the loop that kicks in at 0:58, exactly what i love, and the slight timing offset adds even more charm. Sprouts emerging everywhere kind of soundscape, the ice melts, it's spring.
