I am reciting a poem by Rumi to myself in the mirror. Nothing fancy, nothing planned, just like that ... I have only altered the male nouns (father, son) into female ones (Mother, daughter) from the original english version of the poem.
In a way that smile I give myself is the most beautiful thing I have uploaded so far on YouTube.
It is a way in which I am affirming myself of the love that I have for that bird of paradise who is me. Maybe putting it up here on YouTube so "nakedly" is my wish that not only me but also others make efforts to approach themselves in this loving, gentle way.
Thank you Rumi!

@batura1 - A narcissist is a person who cannot love, neither thereself nor another. Their self-obsession is just a means to numb the voices of self-hatred and emptiness inside.

HOW SHOULD THE SOUL not take wings
when from the Glory of God
It hears a sweet, kindly call:
"Why are you here, soul? Arise!"
