this marshall amp is JCM 800 VS. Bugera 1960
-
I would love to hear the 159 HW

@sirlazyharry no you obviously dont. there both plexi's first of all. The marshall jcm lead series wasnt introduced yet. you can tell its a plexi by the 4 input jacks. the marshall vintage lead series only has 2 stacked vertically. Plexi's also have no pre amp volume or gain. There is a hugeeee difference. You still have a lot to learn. There both non master volume too.

the Marshall clean is a bunch clearer - just a whole lot less mud. Great demo mate, well done. :)

The Marshall will eat that thing for breakfast

for the money it might be okay for some people but it definitely sounds cheap. It's missing almost all of the bottom end and loose distortion you expect from a tube amp.

@primemeanster i can have a mesa boggie head and have a plexi circuit whats the difference??
-
I think, it wold be better regulate the tone stack so, that the bass, middle and treble response sound equal. So I can`t hear, what the difference is !

@bmwm3cs You're right, I was wrong about the 1959 coming first--the 1959, 1987, 2203 and 2204 were all designated JCM800 at the same time, followed closely by the 2210 and so on. Pretty noobish of me!

@AeolianSeventh Nope, your a noob and you don't know what your talking about.
And aJCM 800 is NOT a PLEXI!

@primemeanster
Here we go again... dude...
JCM800 is a SERIES of amps, it's not just one amp. It's always better to indentify marshalls by model numbers like 1959, 1987, 1962, 2203, etc.
The amp in the video is kind of rare, but it IS a plexi (1959), but it's in a JCM800 series box.
