  • You can currently get the series 1-7 DVD set (aka 'the complete collection'...but is only complete up to 2008) on Amazon for £48.99. For a 28 disc set with 61 mostly feature length episodes, that is a phenomenal bargain. I'm treating myself to it for Christmas. There will only be series 8 and 9 (9's the last series, airing next year) to buy after that. I also just got the entire collection of Jeremy Brett's Sherlock Holmes for £20.97 (Amazon again)...so I won't ever be bored again.

  • @GhibliFan1 - What a fantastic treat! You are correct, you will never be bored. I loved Jeremy Brett as Holmes and David Suchet as Poirot. Thanks for the updated info!

  • Unfortunately, at this time, youtube won't post the entire episode, so renting it on Netflix or buying it from ebay is the only ways possible right now.

  • There were lots of Poirots episodes on today but I couldn't watch this one because the weird camera angles and reflections in mirrors and glass. I think they tried to make it like a film noir but just ended up spoiling it. :(

  • @Tallyhofox

Jeremy Brett's portrayal of Holmes is great. The most true to book by far. ITV and the production team were very brave for doing away with the deerstalker stereotype and focusing more on being true to his personality, as well as showing him warts-and-all...e.g. talking about taking Morphine and Cocaine in the very first episode. Poirot is also very true to book. We are so lucky to see these great actors in parts they made their own. I can't wait to watch them all at my leisure.

  • Do you know where I can get the full movie? Thanks

  • i'm crazy about agatha christie's novels and david suchet performs superbly in each films:)
