Part of me loves this video, and the other part absolutely hates it but this is one of the hardest I have made yet emotionally, and I really had to push my self to finish it

It has been months since Aeris has seen Squall, and she has been getting impatient just tending their garden that they grew when they first started dating. Just as she was thinking that, the doors of the church quietly opened interrupting her from her train of thought. She looked up to see a man smiling with soft eyes looking down at her and her face lit up as she went to greet the man she loved. But what Aeris wasnt expecting was that there relationship would pick up on the same foot they left off on, which wasnt good. Squall has always been a proud member of SeeD and would follow the headmasters orders like a blind puppy, meaning that he would be away from time to time making it hard to hold onto a relationship. Although Squall knew that it would be difficult, and normally he wouldnt even think of a relationship with anybody outside of his work, but Aeris was very important to him and couldnt even imagine a life without her. Aeris too loved him unconditionally, although his job made it hard, but she was more than willing to make it work.

A week after their rocky reunion, Squall was called out on yet another SeeD mission, only this time the headmaster said that is was a dangerous one, and there was a chance that he may not come back. After he explained this to Aeris she questioned if she will be able to see him again, and like his usual self, he answered it brutally honest. His remarked frightened Aeris, although she tried hard not to let it show. But like always he could tell that she was shaken by this, so he reassured her that she had nothing to worry about and he will surely come back home to her safely.

3 years later

Squall is still in SeeD and he is stationed in Balamb, seemingly an entire world away from Aeris. Although his distance is a factor, he still often thinks about her and how they used to write to each other regularly (up until 8 months ago when she stopped writing back to him.) But he just assumed that she has moved on from him and he figured that he should too. And that is when Rinoa appeared at the SeeD ball. She was sweet, kind, and understanding to him. They have been dating for about 6 months and Squall couldnt help but to think of Aeris from time and again during his missions. And Rinoa noticed that he was often in a daze and obviously wasnt thinking of her, so Rinoa always tried to hold on to him, fearing he was going to leave.

One late afternoon Rinoa picks up a letter left on her balcony written by Squall. Upon reading that letter she takes off trying to run after him, a meaningless effort of course. She stops in the field and grasps the necklace that he gave to her and is some what happy. For she knows that Aeris is the only one that could ever bring him true happiness, and seeing that Squall will be happy is enough for her.




Squall finally arrives in his home city of Midgar. Although he is tired and worn, he cannot control his excitement as he reaches the old church in slums. With every cell in his body screaming as he opens the wood church doors, he walks to their garden. And there, he collapsed to floor, trying grasp that his only love, has truly moved on.
