Elskerinden fra Fyn - A song about a Danish bridge

In 1998 I was asked to write a song, describing the joy of the new "Storebæltsbro" (a bridge in Denmark). It's about a woman from Fyn (an island) who have a lover in Sjælland (another island). They had to look forward to the opening of the bridge, As there was no longer concerns of having to reach the last ferry at the end af a secret date.

Torben Lysholm and I were extraordinary allowed to cross the unfinished bridge. Recordings of this song, at René Taagehøjs studio in sjælland, were delayed and the last ferry had left the harbor in Korsør. We drove across the bridge between site huts and everything. A good experience:-D
