@woodenmajor Oh, to be fair, there WAS a time when Islam ruled the world in science, for several centuries, but it had NOTHING to do with the religion or the Qur'an. It was based on the writings of the ancient Greeks. Muslim scholars translated and studied Greek philosophy, mathematics, medicine, astronomy (more like astrology in those days). They DID make contributions, but then their discoveries started to bring Islam itself into question...so they stopped.
