@LisaJJMerry, anyone's free to interpret the song as they will, but I got the homophobia vibe from it as well, so that makes at least two of us. It could be about a number of things, but the words themselves seem to speak for people who are ostracized from society

It's about going to a terrible place in life because you've got nothing left inside you and where just talking to someone can make them physically ill. As weird as that sounds, it's unfortunately very true. And I'm going to hell in the same way he's singing about here.
