  • This ferry or supercat used to ply the Cook Strait run in New Zealand and I was once doing 42 knots onboard. Or 48mph nearly 80 kph. What happened what did it hit? does anybody know?

  • If you look at the bottom end of this train of weird comments you'll get all sorts of explainations of why this ferry crashed. lol

  • Get some more videos up here you lazy boy.

  • Got to be something interesting!

  • She's settling at the stern. How'd it happen? Where is the other vessel? Was this vid. taken fromit?

  • It was so foggy that I didn't actually see the collision - only the recovery. I thnk it's listing so much because all the passengers cars in the hold are now crunched up in one corner.

  • I was the captain of the boat. At the time of the accident I was getting drunk with Roger the cabin boy, he dared me to a game of blind mans bum, basically a spot of sea-bound anal fisting whilst blindfolded. It was shortly after fist entry that we hit some idiot in a tanker who was playing a game of chicken that we were not prepared for.

  • Yeah, I was working there too.

Except I did cause the crash.

I Took such a big crap in the bathroom that the boat lost control and crashed, it could have been worse though.

  • when u say recovering...it appears to be sinking to me

  • @Tinapi It never operated in New Zealand. It is operating as the Snaefell for the IOMSPCo. and previously operated for the IOMSPCo. as the Sea Express 1 (in video) and SeaCat Isle of Man. It also operated for Irish Sea Express (Dublin-Liverpool) as Sea Express 1, and operated in the English channel as the SeaCat Boulogne.

  • they almost made it

  • Gotcha! LOLs

  • @davemakesawave

Where on earth did you read that nonsense? The Collision Regulations state precisely the opposite...... a good lookout in all conditions and especially in reduced vis.
