  • I did the globespan tour, Charity was one of the last to be scrapped from 111 sqn under the prefix HA. Maybe one day Typhoon will work just as well rather that just being a good flyer

  • @FloridaGator369 all civilian and military carrier aircraft are escorted in and out of the falklands air space basically to show that the RAF Is always there to protect and to serve it's also added security. Alough its expensive it's quite s proud thing to see the pilots doing there job and risking there lives :D

  • Why do they do this ?

  • @agnosticcc not replaced! not yet anyway!

  • Cool, I've been there several times but never intercepted, maybe I shall not reply on the radio? ;)

    Cheers

  • That is an RAF Tornado F3. They are now replaced by Eurofighter Typhoons.

  • aye tis a DC10 operated by Omni Air, who must have THE oldest cabin crew ever!!!! hated my flight down for my tour!

  • that's seriously cool!
