  • @KPJ113 Thanks. You know I saw a Ric Ocasek solo concert on tv wayyyyy back when I was on the east coast and Casey was playing lead guitar and running all over the stage like a crazy guy. Great stuff. Rik just stood there strummed and sang.

I could never find this single but heard the last 30 seconds on the radio late one night and have been looking for it ever since. I was disappointed that it wasn't on the sight and sound ep.

  • @fstop77 They opened for The Cars, and Casey played lead guitar in Beatitude's "Something To Grab For."

  • I loved this song so much I had my band The Betelnuts in Taipei, Taiwan play it (around 1988) & it it sounded fantastic.

  • @IIIIILizIIIII -- OMG, "Say What"!!! I have the vinyl in my archives (and this 7" single too).

Green Day should cover this song. Or somebody. Still sounds amazing!

  • Thanks for posting!!!!!!!! Been looking for this forever. I think these guys opened for Rick Ocasek on his solo tour way back when being both from Boston. I think he was doing the Beatitude album tour. I saw them play a dive bar in Atlantic City called Blondies, wow! That had to be around '83-84

  • @SuperSkidude If you do a search, you'll find the video for Stranger In Disguise here on YouTube. I wish there was concert/club footage from back then. It would have been a blast to watch and listen to.

  • Good job I was going to post this. Did not realize it had been done. These guys were as big as anyone in the Boston scene of the early eighties so where are all the vids?

  • Thanks so much for posting this. Talk about a blast from my past. I have this EP and loved this band. Can't even tell you how many times I saw them play in the Boston clubs back in the day. I wish I could find 'Say What' here on the Tube. It was another one of my favorites. Thanks again! :)
