Philippine History lecture of Dr. Ambeth Ocampo in Vienna

"Bridging the Cultural and Generation gap among second generation Filipinos in Europe." - this was the theme of the lecture conducted by seminar Dr. Ambeth Ocampo, famous filipino historian, academe and columnist at the Inquirer, which took place on April 23, 2008 at the Philippine Embassy in Vienna.

This guy is my professor in Ateneo. Very quirky and intelligent guy who brings a lot of common sense to history and the superficial way people just accept it as being JUST a narrative, perhaps even propaganda. History classes with Dr. Ocampo has its biggest perk in learning to see history as both a science and an art, and something very human and relate-able to.

I owe my a love of history from wonderful professors at the Ateneo. Mr. Jo-ed Tirol, Mr. David Lozada, and Dr. Ambeth Ocampo. Legends.

I think filipino history is worthwhile to learn,from rizal to ramos Filipinos DO add to world history.@haters,your not helping anyone,and I can name many people,including Filipinos that have done more than you have done.
