  • @biggfingger5 You are in an extreme minority-80 likes 2 dislikes. Musicians, songwriters, producers pretty much all sing her praises. Phil Ramone, the 14X grammy award producer who has worked with all the big names has mentored Nikki for 4 years and produced her last album. She excels in all technical aspects of voice-perfect pitch, control, timing, phrasing, range. You can confirm researching her recordings and performances. "Nikki is the most talented singer since Judy Garland."-Tony Bennett

  • @Bonitaymorena "Sing covers for now"? There are 6 original songs on Nikki's DVD. Her latest CD has 7 of 13 tracks of original material. None of the songs, original or covers, are about "usual teenage stuff." If you are so certain you are right about Amy Winehouse, what is the point of you coming all angry and defensive about Amy to this discussion page to trash and belittle Nikki? What did Nikki do to deserve this? Are Nikki fans going to discussion pages about Amy just to belittle Amy?

  • @Bonitaymorena Strange to bring Amy Winehouse and your defense of her to discussions of Nikki. They haven't said what Amy died from? Even her family and friends said she would certainly die from drugs and alcohol! Amy was 27, looked 60, had destroyed her internal organs. Niiki is a very savy, musically mature 17, not 15, travels the world (not the mall) on tour, was just backed by an 80-piece orchestra, hangs with Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, etc, more technically gifted than Amy ever was.

  • @Bonitaymorena This is one of those ridiculous criticisms that crop-up about Nikki-that she can't "feel' the music because or her age and hasn't live through enough pain and suffering. By the way, how do you know she hasn't felt real pain? For all you know, she has been abused or had close family members die. Amazingly, her lack of scandal is held against her. Putting a bluesy edge on every note you sing e.g. Amy Winehouse doesn't make you a great singer-although some think it does.

  • @barrildeesperanca i got rhythm
