WE KNOW , WE KNOW , THAT DAM CURSE . but who knows , our new QB ((matt strafford)) is from the same high school that bobby layne went to , so who knows .

The LIons got Suh coming plus as eddy has said the new QB went to Layne's hs. The times may get better for the Lions.

@BusBoyIsBack No one's sure exactly what he meant anymore. He could have meant that the Lions won't win the championship for 50 years. Or that they won't win a game in 50 years. Being the curse that it is, both happened.

And the one they won before that, was in Detroit where a player who was born in Detroit retired as the Steelers won one for the thumb.

I don't know whether you are interested in soccer, but the FC Schalke 04 didn't win the league in germany since '58, that makes fifty years+, too.
But we say: "A myth does not need a title".
But even the worst series will come to an end. And I hope both series, the Lions' and Schalke's, will end soon.
