You really thought this out. I've read the books. I've seen the movies. I've lightly pondered, "Which House would you be in?" But I don't have the depth of knowledge that you have. The books have not affected me as powerfully. That's partly my age. I'm nearly 50. You were reading the books through more important and formative years. In some ways, I envy you.

@RockingJamboree Yeah, I really couldn't have been born at a better time to experience HP. I imagine that all future generations of HP fans will also envy my own. But I've also often thought the same about people who got to experience the music scene of the 60s, and I'm sure every generation has it's exclusive moments.

i agree with pretty much all of the things you said, however, i never really thought of the dumbledore quote as something to us about reading the books but more as a its ok to imagine and be in your head because all of your thoughts are valid and real. idk but you make a good point.
