  • no.. the injecotr engines with 185hp..

  • @humdidoadi with 160hp.. hehe seems unbelieveble but im sure you're right. ;)

  • @coolakiIlen007 no.. simply 5 speed manual and 1:3.07 diff. makes a theoretical topspeed of 270kmh

  • @humdidoadi 250?? with what kind of rear axle? hehe i think thats impossible..?

  • @coolakiIlen007 im also driving 130~ on averrage.. but i know one who took a 280e with 5 speed. and ran 250 with it..

  • @humdidoadi yeah, well i know my diesel engine wont take any punnishment being pressured a bit but i dont like to hear it rev like that! ;) it kind of hurts me aswell, 120km/h is a nice cruising speed but i hear some drive 140 easy (150 top speed) ;)

  • @coolakiIlen007 its a nice car.. mine 230e has 120tkm as well. i never drove more than 170.. but i have a broken cam shaft bearing..

  • @humdidoadi well after they've been taxis they're driven privately about 300 000kms more but then they have got 300 owners aswell.. but i think you should be able to drive a car and it still is a looker. a 230kms car isnt a car its an object sitting in your price shelf, never getting out. this 230E on the vid is special dude, my 240D has 340 000kms so its practically just driven in, i bet it would still do its top speed but i havent dared to try.

  • @coolakiIlen007 i have seen one on a collectors garage with 000.230km..

up till 100tkm isnt that special..

  • @humdidoadi i dont know if all w123's where you live are in mint condition, but here in Sweden they are rare since most are scrapped, put in/outside a barn, or been used as taxis till about 500 000 - 1 000 000 kms. well petrols are easier to find decent shape but they are not as desireable as the diesels, at least the carburators aren't. but the 230E and 280E are rare to find at all.
