Furthermore you might think its slender at 154 pages but that's because the font and formatting has been reduced to keep down printing costs, its probably double the length in pages so this isn't some paper thin film by film account of his career-it's far more in depth. Glad you enjoyed it

This book is ABSOLUTELY worth buying. An extensive analysis of the films, performance, and career of Mickey Rourke. This is not just some typical collection of film reviews; this is an entertaining and thoughtful research piece on both the films, performances, and general arc of his acting career. Honestly, I read the book once, and then immediately re-read it - no BS. It was informative, interesting, provocative, and insightful. This is the book I was waiting for; I'm a serious MR fan.

I just bought this on a complete whim, 1/4 of the way through it and very surprised at how good it is-informative, tons of great analysis and rare quotes and new interviews and clearly done by a fan FOR the fans-really great stuff, best of luck with the book-I recommend it
