Haji Khursheed Anwar Khan Niazi is a well known personality of district Mianwali. He is a man of character with progressive mind & strong religious affiliation for Islam, He is basically a social worker and his actions are opposite to typical local political leaders who only protect their benefits regarding their business which main cause to take part in politics and get seats in National & Provincial assemblies. But Khursheed Anwar Khan Niazi is different from typical and proved a good Nazim of Mianwali, when he was elected in last election of local government. Recently, a civil society who consist on persons belong to all walks of life, formed a plate farm named "Tehreek-e-Haqooq-e-Mianwali" launched a campaign for raising voice for the basic rights which are being denied intentionally, since last 63 years discriminations by all governments, towards people of Mianwali. On 4th July, 2011 a peaceful rally was directly fired by punjab police, due to which Khadam Hussain & Mehr Khan embraced martyrdom and hundreds injured seriously and a fake FIR over all citizens of District Mianwali launched by police to hide their inefficiency to handle the peaceful rally which was running for main demand of load shedding free with raylty to Mianwali over Chasma & Jinnah barrage power plants, since people of Mianwali sacrificed their villages and shifted to another place due to which they are still under bad condition. Other demands include University of Mianwali, Medical College, Engineering University, Women University, Latest Hospital, Park in each tehsil, Cricket/Hockey Stadium, Kala Bagh Dam Construction, Motorway from Bilkasar & Kotmomin to Mianwali via Essa Khel link to Indus Highway near Bunnu due to which Provincial links will shorten the distance for transportation shall increase boost up of business and will reduce unemployment and shall bring prosperity among Pakistan, industrial state establishment free of tax for 10 years, quota of Mianwali in CSS, Army, Air Force, Navy, etc.
