  • This attack is unwarranted. Elizabeth Alexander's poems does have rhythm, and all the elements that this woman described. Marjorie Perlman thinks Language poetry is poetry (in numerous public articles) and dismisses Elizabeth Alexander's poems as "not poetry." When you launch a terrible, one-sided attack like this you explode your credibility. She's no longer a reliable source for competitive poetic criticism.

    Additionally, why is this woman wearing a wig?
