It's conceptual art- it contrasts form with material. The associations you make with chocolate in your head are challenged by it's use here and in effect it messes with your preconceptions about life. In this sense the sculpture 'happens' in your own head. You are the one bringing Your values to the piece. Therefore YOU are forced to become an agent in the 'function' and process of this work. This is just one of many ways of understanding it. Does this help?

I had all these feelings and understandings (and others of course) what you describe above. I just was not sure sure how to put that into writing... Your comments did it, you are great!
The sculpture does evolve in mi mind and I AM forced to bring the values and break my own to get fresher ones.
