@angoranimi07 Would that it were so simple. From the vantage point of the 21st century I heartily agree with your observation. However, let's not forget that Herr Bach in addition to being Kappellemeister, required to write a cantata or two every Sunday, he was also a practicing Lutheran, for whom these theological ideas provided inspiration to the music he was called upon to compose.

@Arnold3135 Music is music, religion is religion. But i like the nuance of your comment sir.

@ClassicalFan28 Thanks for responding and reminding all of us that civility is global and is not the property of any particular culture or people. I completely agree that we should focus on art and beauty and leave the rest to others to sort out. Thanks again for your kind words.

@xollyeux Only an inbred redneck retard can stain this beauty with such language. Go back to Soulja Boy videos and comment there with your fellow illiterates.

@xollyeux LOL Bravely spoken.

@Arnold3135 europeans have civil views? hmm that's odd. Every european in media and real life seem to be arrogant shit-talking butchery backstabbing dumb fucks and can not speak without a dick in their mouths. Oh sorry, that is being civil. Dur pardon me I'm a dumb America, not a stupid eurotrash piece of cock.

@syncrow76 Do you believe that Michael Jackson's music will be heard 270 years from now?

Fine, you can have the music. Just remember the music was inspired by a religious idea, a faith perspective if you will. Try reading Christoph Wolffe's great biography of Bach's and learn something about one of the great European composers. I will say and what's striking about your commentary is that it exposes a certain lack of civility. A bit surprising, given that you are a European and would therefore have civil views. The tone of your post, why it almost sounds American. Congratulations!
