- i played this song 16 times straight to make this video
- there is some parts out of sync, because i was lazy editing and wanted this video done
- i made this video "interesting" because people were complaining about my other drum videos being boring
- i have my ipod playing the song, and then my triggers plugged into my larger headphones so i can stay on beat as best as possible and monitor my playing. the audio you here is NO TRIGGERS. this is NOT triggered.
- there is a snare trigger which i don't output live, it's again just for monitor sake.
- i use axis drum pedals, and the right pedal has sandpaper so my foot won't slip off the pedal when i go really fast.
- yes, my kit, cymbals, and heads are pieces of shit. i'm broke. and i hit hard.
- i happen to make very stupid faces while i play drums. i am aware, haha.
- yes, my band does have christmas lights in our jam space. it's fucking sweet.
- i edited this in final cut pro, teaching myself the program in about 9 hours total.
