@WatchingViking By all means & I do mean ALL go see Bob Dylan in concert! It's still a life changing experience! Saw him in 2010. Had been a long time since the 60's, but Dylan is still the masterful entertainer. It was a great concert! He's worth a drive to go see!

@DV644 What's with Dylan? Dylan has nothing to do with this song

@GrafficGuy When Springsteen inducted Dylan to Rock and Roll hall of fame he ended his speech saying " thanks, without you I wouldn"t be here"

The most beautifull that I listened of this music. Jon Landau said : " I saw the future of the rock n roll, his name is Bruce Springsteen. One night when I needed to feel young, he made me feel as if it was the first time when I heard some music"...

While it's true that Dylan was big influence on Bruce it's not true that there would be no Bruce without Bob. Along with Dylan influences Bruce started out with heavy 60's rock and R&B influences which are clearly illustrated in many of his songs, especially early on in the Wild and Innocent.....songs. Before his "Dylan" period and 'Greetings from Asbury Park' Bruce was a monster singer/guitar player in power bands that would have made it big regardless.
Bob sings the 'lalala' around the end of the song.
