  • I'm a 22 year old male you utter mug.

  • Great argument there. What an idiot you are son. It's just lucky for you there's no equivalent of airbrushing for the mind, as there's not much in yours as it is.

  • "A protest about the widespread use and normalisation of airbrushing, creating an unrealistic view of wome's bodies"

Oh so its only women who are airbrushed. Thanks for clearing that matter up for me.

  • Great direct action against the objectification and commodification of women. Down with the marketing-patriarchal complex.

  • @WLBFC feminists are typically the least attractive of the bunch. They don't care about their diets or what sort of shape they're in. They believe that displaying fat girls some how shows the rights message to further add to our obesity pandemic...and I suppose this helps facilitate a better environment for children. It remove any sense of competition from their character because all people are equally sexy.

  • Why do you think a feminist wouldn't be what you consider to be attractive? Do you really think the way women are all too often portrayed in the media and magazines is healthy for young girls who are having to grow up in a society in which their gender is sexualised so increasingly?

It's quite unfortunate that you attempt to insult people who are trying to help ensure a better environment for our children to grow up in.

  • The point of this particular video is a protest about airbrushed images of women in magazines, which adds to the insecurities of young girls who feel they have to somehow live up to this unattainable image of what a woman apparently "should" look like...

  • ....It highly ironic that you claim to believe women in advertisements create a false reality while still believing that feminists have no sense of envy or jealousy (otherwise human attributes) that would motivate them to distain other women who are more attractive than themselves.

  • @WLBFC If we can't agree that there are reasons for why people do things that perhaps jealousy and envy might have something to do with such disgust of how women are portrayed in the media then we can agree on anything. But hear me out on this one point

  • @WLBFC Feminism and jealousy go hand-in-hand. Feminists typically demand a constant state of denial of us along with swallowing a whole host falsehoods we know are not true such as fat women are sexy, being thin is abnormal, sexy women in advertisements are oppressed.... and it just goes on like this for feminists.

  • What a load of nonsense that is. It's quite a pathetic avoidance of the issue at hand to write off all feminists as "jealous". Stop spouting drivel.

  • @maatwerk67 You're right to some degree. Feminists are incredibly jealous of a woman's beauty that they'll write her off as anorexic.
