  • @TheFivestaralex It is a morriss dancing parade, you're right - but there is an Orange 'section' - at 0.36sec, see the 'The Red Hand' drawn on the box the 'Queen' sits?

  • This is St Johns Estate..Manor farm Road leading to St Johns Road... The parade is the crowning of the Rose Queen...I

    only remember St Gabriels celebrating it...after the parade there was a fete in the junior playing field... I know this How?? I was more than likely there..I lived in the quarry...

  • Yes, that's the exact location- Manor Farm Road and St Johns Rd (where I'm from). So I'm right in saying it is a Lodge celebration? (as some people think it is not?)
