@Gabester64 that means either ur headphone is broken or your i9 headphone jack is broken. If ur headphone is broken, u have to replace it but if your i9 headphone jack is broken, u might have to send it to cowon

my iaudio 9 is having problem when i try listen to it with my earphones, the sound sounds distorted and the i cant hear the singer. please help

@born192 Believe me, FLAC won't be the first to note....for a Cowon, mp3 will be FLAC compared to an Ipod...:) I had a D2, now an I9 is coming...Cowon IS THE BEST!

@Omer698 compromises have to be made. for me, main thing is sound quality and no restriction on what music i use, and where its from, unlike apple. ive had sonys before, and bought another one. sent straight back as it was ridiculously quiet; thats sony conforming to eu regulations = bullshit. so no matter how the controls work, you will get used to them after a while. think this is the best player out there(in its price bracket ofc), and 16gb for £100?! amazing. good luck finding one suits u:D
