@DewCrewLongboarding Matter can be created out of nothing, due to something called the heisenberg principle which simply states that the universe is uncertain and therefore does not know whether things exist or not exist, so you can exist and not exist at the same time this allows for a space in which nothing exists to get existing matter due to the uncertainty of the universe.

A more simple answer would of course be we cannot simply comprehend the universe for it goes against all rationale.

More importantly if you believe so why does god not have a cause? And can the same not be applied to the big bang if you say god needs no cause?

Most common one people try to use to try to prove the bible is wrong is the Big bang theory that states an explosion started the universe. This goes against the Bible but science states that every reaction has a cause the Big Bang theory was the reaction to matter condensing in a dense area and expanding. But matter does not just come out of nowhere. I was taught that science can try to go against the bible but in the end proves that there is a God.
