I Googled this song after hearing a snippet during the Olympic opening ceremony, then came here. The first time I ever heard of it. I can only guess that Mud never made the crossing here because they might have been regarded as also rans after T-Rex and The Sweet. No, this might have been their "greatest hit" here.

A handful of bands that didn't make it here or made a dent: Pretty Things, Flamin' Groovies, The Move/Wizzard, Status Quo, Slade, Vinegar Joe, Gentle Giant and Darts.

Funny, at the time Mud were known as a pop group, not a rock band at all, yet this song is more rock than anything todays "rock" bands such as Coldplay, ever did.
