hun yuan qigong
sun and moon turning
_9-20-10.

Purpose of this exercise is to move the good qi from the laogongs in palms to the heart, lungs and chest area, and to remove the bad qi from the same areas at the same time. Rub hands together and place laogongs over nipples. Left nipple is Yang (Sun) and right nipple is Yin (Moon). Stand for about 1 minute (shortened in video) and focus on collecting "sick energy", bad qi. After collecting, shake out the hands. Repeat three times. Then rapidly rotate hands as if screwing in a light bulb, filling hands with good qi. Then circle hands lightly touching body 30 times (fewer in video), not higher than ribs and no lower than pelvis, opening and closing chest at same time. Circle internally at the same time, a vertical circle up the back and down the front. Then reverse the circle 30 times, also reversing internal vertical circle. Shift weight subtly from side to side, breath naturally.
Finish with bring qi to dantian three times, then stand in modified Wuiji stance* for a few minutes.
*Baoyuan Guiyi = all becomes one. Body similar to Wuji, but with right palm on dantian, left over right, laogongs over each other. Women opposite.
