This poor girl seems to have been arrested for doing something that is completely legal in this city. One person complained and they arrested her. Seems a bit ridiculous to me, (like this protest).
I apologize for the crappy interview... this is my first attempt at Civilian Journalism... x3

  • @DavidSLynch being nude is not truly a crime it's what you do while your naked that is a crime. the basis of crime is or should not be law, but 2 things did you hurt someone , or their property. being naked does not hurt anybody.(true some body's might offend ,) but it is not hurting anybody for another person to be totally naked. no harm no crime.

  • exposing your breast in public is not illegal in nc FALSE ARREST. the police or somebody wanted her to dissapear for the day

  • Pathetic....all around pathetic. I don't know who I pity more, the girl or the people who saw her naked.

  • What a whiny little media whore.

  • I saw a picture on the Citizen-Times that showed some guy try to cover her up, violating her space. No wonder she went off. Why isn't that bastard in jail for assault?

  • heard her say, "I was told I wasn't worthy to wear clothes." Coupled with the news reports, sounds like somebody told her that after she went topless, which set her off and got her naked, which got her arrested. And that, then, is a fair arrest. Zealots all the way around.

  • What did she say Mumpower liked to do?

  • IF she did it she should have been arrested. But I think we should all petition the Governor for a full pardon if she's convicted. This is overboard. You go after real crimes, not sensationalize everything because Mumpower doesn't want boobies shown in public. Truth is if the City BANNED the event they would have been sued under the 14th Amendment and Article 1, Sections 13 and 14 of the NC Constitution.

  • No, the police did NOT arrest her because she took her bra off - being topless (both for men and women) in North Carolina is legal. She was arrested by the police because she got fully undressed from the waist DOWN - and yes, that is illegal in North Carolina.
