Benedict XVI: Peace for the world , egoism will not prevail

The saving grace of God can change evil into good and transform the human heart. This is the central meaning of Christmas, reaffirmed by Benedict XVI in the Urbi et Orbi message at St Peter's Square. The light of peace will spread to Lebanon, Iraq, and  throughout the Middle East because dialogue and negotiation do away with violence.Of Africa, the Pope spoke of the difficult situation in Zimbabwe, in the region of Kivu, in Darfur, in Somalia.
