This is 16mm amateur film showing the neighborhood around the old Oak Park Arms hotel in Oak Park, Illinois. There are also a few scene taken along the Chicago shoreline. The park near the end is Garfield Park.

The narration was added in 1996. The film is set to play back at 16 frames per second.
