Hey dude; this album/CD sounds sick. I like it. You're 'Z' inspired tracks are really tight, but...I'm enjoying this albums sound overall. It's nice to see that you're getting out of the monotony. But, ha, in my opinion, don't quite forget about the roots. All in all, I like it. I'll be sure to get a hold of this CD any way I can, ha ha. Take care man, and keep up the 'Epic' work.

Hey there. I noticed the quick strumming of the string instruments early on in the tune. How did you pull that off using a MIDI controller? Or did you manually place the notes via DAW?
JesseProper 1 year ago
@JesseProper Oh the string runs at the beginning? I slowed the tempo way down and played it in, then sped it back up. I had this pattern that I ran up the whole keyboard. Had to cut it short though and skip a couple octaves cause it was too long. I do things a variety of ways really, sometimes it's all live, but edits, others slowed down and played in, other times, just entered manually. I try to only do manual entry with electronic parts that are supposed to sound inhuman.
