Why o why do they all have to be so identical?!! Our beloved Casper passed in July. None of us have quite recovered. He would do that same vicious "i'm going to eat you" stance. Then bark to high heaven. Then top it off with the little -I'm not quite done yet- snorts. He's a doll.

Sounds like my Eskie. He'll go outside in the morning and just before bed and stand in the middle of the yard and give 3 or 4 snorts and barks, just up at the sky, as if to warn possible trespassers that he's there. Otherwise, never a peep out of him!
